COURSE INFORMATION
THE COURSE
Both the Sprint and Olympic courses will traverse some of Ohio's most beautiful scenery through historic Cincinnati and along the mighty Ohio River. Once a conduit for the nation's commerce, the Ohio River will now host over 1000 of the nation's finest triathletes in Cincinnati's first ever triathlon. The bike segment climbs and descends Columbia Parkway, offering spectacular views of Downtown and the Ohio River. The run winds along the shaded banks of the Ohio River, races past the Reds and Bengals stadium's before returning to the Finish Line and an amazing finish line celebration.GREAT OHIO RIVER SWIM, 3 Rivers - 2 States - 1 Great Swim
As of 7 am Saturday, June 28th, water quality testing has indicated bacteria levels above permissible contact standards for recreational swimming. Unfortunately, we have made the decision to cancel the Ohio River Swim (part of Paddlefest), originally scheduled for 11:30 am. Additionally, the One World Triathlon on Sunday, July 29th will be re-routed as a run-bike-run event, substituting a running leg of the race for the originally scheduled swim (new course: one mile run for sprint distance participants, two mile run for olympic distance participants). We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation in making this alternate race safe and fun for all.SWIM
