CORPORATE CHALLENGE

CORPORATIONS!  YOU HAVE BEEN CHALLENGED!

The Corporate Challenge is a great way to build camaraderie, compete, build fitness and meet and greet with other corporate triathletes from all over.

Join GE and other local corporations for the Cincinnati Triathlon's first ever Corporate Challenge. 

The winning corporation will receive the CINCINNATI TRIATHLON CORPORATE CUP, a very gaudy traveling trophy suitable for display in any corporate boardroom.

It is easy to enter.  Just complete the normal individual entry process and, where asked, just fill in that you are competing for your corporation or place of employment.  We will do the rest and keep track of the team, your team members and scoring.

CORPORATE CHALLENGE RULES:

Entries

1)       Athletes are responsible for their own entries.  No entries will be accepted from the corporation or from a corporate representative.

2)       A roster of all corporate entries will be sent to all corporate entrants approximately 10 days before the event.   Changes may be made only by the athlete and no changes will  be accepted from the corporation or from a corporate representative.

3)       The Corporate Challenge list will be posted at registration the day before the event.  It is the responsibility of the athlete to check his or her entry and to request correction if necessary. At close of registration absolutely NO changes will be allowed.  The Corporate Challenge list will be final for scoring purposes.  

4)        To enter, just complete the normal individual entry process and indicate your place of employment on the entry form where requested.  We will do the rest and keep track of corporate entries and scoring.

 Eligibility

 1)        Each participant must be an employee of the corporation or place of business.  Corporations cannot give employment, scholarships, and/or honorary positions solely for the purposes of competition in the Corporate Challenge.

2)         Although we have called it the Corporate Challenge, there are no restrictions on the form  or size of the business.  Big corporations to 1 man shops are all encouraged to enter the Corporate Challenge.

3)       Relays are eligible for the Corporate Challenge.  Just find 2 other friends at work and come on out to compete in the Cincinnati Triathlon.

 Wave Starts

 1)       All Corporate Challenge participants shall be entered in and start in the waves of their respective age groups.  Irregardless of the ruling made for the triathlon in general, if a Corporate Challenge athlete does not start in his or her proper wave then any points won shall be forfeited and not count toward his or her club total.

Each entered Corporate Challenge participant gets 1 point for participation

Relay members count for 3 points if 3 people to a relay and 2 points if 2 on a relay

Trophies to be Awarded*
Corporate Cup to the Corporate Challenge team with the most points.
