Registration Protector is an additional $7 per registration. If you can't attend the event for any number of covered reasons, including injury, illness, traffic accidents and more, you'll be reimbursed for your registration cost, fees and other related costs. THE CINCINNATI TRIATHLON SELLS OUT AT 1500 ENTRIES

Entering the Cincinnati Triathlon is easy.  You do not need to qualify and there are no special procedures. Simply sign up and show up on July 21!

There are three ways to enter. 

• You can go to our online registration site at Active.com and sign up online. That is the only way to sign up using a credit card.

• You can download an entry and mail it in with your entry fee.

• You can enter at registration on July 21st if the race has not sold out.  Remember there is no race day entry except for the Great Ohio River Swim on July 21st

PACKET PICK UP FOR A FRIEND

We have had a number of questions about race day packet pick up.  We ask that everybody check in on Saturday because we want to get an on time start.  If you have work, travel or family commitments that prevent you from packet pick on Saturday please let us know and we can have your number, etc., ready for you on race morning.  Email racedirector@tucsonracing.com. 

If you want to pick up a packet for someone or want to pick up a packet for a relay member you can now do so.  Please follow the instructions below exactly or, due to insurance regulations, we will not be able to release the packet.

     1.  Go to www.tucsonracing.com and download the USAT waiver from the News and Updates box.
     2.  Have the person that you are going to pick up the packet for sign the waiver.
    3.  Bring a copy of the waiver, along with a copy of their driver's license and valid USAT card, if applicable, to registration.

The Wright Patterson Varsity Triathlon Team invites all comers to find out who is the toughest triathletes among the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.  Special active duty military discounts.  Relay and individual divisions.  Awards for fastest relay and fastest individual.  Limited to Active Duty Personnel only.  Discount registration available only through entry on active.com.

THINGS TO REMEMBER

1.   If you register online you will get a confirmation of entry from active.com. If you send in your entry your canceled check is confirmation of entry. All athletes will get an email from Tucson Racing approximately 10 days before the race with last minute information.

2.   No race day entry.

3.   You must be an annual member of USA Triathlon or purchase a $12 one day insurance license.  The one day insurance fee can be purchased as part of your entry process.

4.   If you are an annual member of USA Triathlon then please remember to bring your membership card and photo ID to registration. If you do not do so you will be assessed the $12 one day insurance fee.  We are sorry but we cannot make exceptions to this rule.

5.  The race may sell out, although it is unlikely to do so.  Please keep in mind that it might sell out as we cannot accept anymore entries once we hit our maximum o f 1500 athletes.

6.  Please see our refund policy on our Policies page.

7.  We  have to order t-shirts 10 days before race day. If you do not enter before July 11th, we cannot guarantee that you will get the size shirt you request.

USA TRIATHLON

USA TRIATHLON (USAT) is the national governing body of the sport of triathlon.  They provide the insurance for the event.  We therefore have to abide by their registration procedures and competitive rules.

If you are an annual member you must bring your valid membership card as well as a photo ID to pick up your packet.  This is required by USAT and we cannot make exceptions.

We follow USAT competitive rules and there will be USAT officials on the course.  Please see www.usatriathlon.org for a comprehensive listing of competitive rules.

RELAYS

Relays are available in the international and sprint distance in the following categories:

Male
Female
Mixed

Relay team members will do the same course as the triathlon. Relays can consist of 2 or 3 members.   All relay members must sign waiver at packet pickup

CLYDESDALE/ATHENA

The Cincinnati Triathlon will be offering a Clydesdale/Athena divisions in the Olympic Triathlon, the Sprint Triathlon and the Duathlon.

 REFUND POLICY

We understand that plans can change.  Unfortunately we are not able to give out any refund, for any reason.  We will not transfer your entry to another race nor roll it over to the  following year.  However, with races selling out we do not want have people enter in January and then be stuck with an entry they cannot use.  Therefore if you notify us at any time prior June 1 we will refund 75% of your entry fee, less any charges by active.com.

If you wish to switch between sprint and Oly, or vice versa, you may do so at any time prior to July 18 (paying the difference in entry fee where applicable).  Just notify us by email and we will make the change.

Please see the registration insurance plan from Active.com.  You may purchase, from Active.com, insurance for your entry fee.  Please note that this program is not administered by the Cincinnati Triathlon and all inquires and claims must be made per the policies as states on Active.com.

TSHIRT POLICY

We need to order t-shirts 10 days before the event.  All athletes will be guaranteed a t-shirt in the size recorded on their entry blank or indicated on Active.com, if your entry is received on or before July 11, 2013.  Entries received after that date may not receive a shirt.
